Add Timecard

In Caretime, you can add timecards manually.  From left menu, click on Add Timecard

Add Timecard Tab

This tab allows you to add one timecard at a time.

Select Employee by typing employee name or selecting from drop down.  You will notice, system will automatically populate zone.

Same with Job.

Select Clock-in Date/Time and Clock-out Date/time.  You will notice system will automatically populate duration.  

Select Authorization/Activity Code, if applicable.  

Click Save.

NOTE: If system detects timecard conflict for an employee, a warning message will appear asking you to cancel to Continue.

Add Timesheet

Caretime allows you to add multiple time cards for a Job.  Navigate to Edit Time Cards from left menu and click on Add Time Card from top right.  To add multiple timecards at once, click on the Timesheet tab.

Select Job by typing Job name or selecting from the drop down menu

ACTIVITY CODE: If in Job Activity Code is set to 'Default', no need to check box for Activity Code. If in Job, Activity Code is set to 'Prompt for Code', select Activity Code check box.   NOTICE ACTIVITY CODE COLUMN APPEARS.

AUTHORIZATION: System will detect active authorization (expired authorizations will not be detected) and display Authorization found.  If you see this message, select Authorization check box

Enter Punch In:  Example, 2015-10-01 09:00 am

Enter Duration: System will automatically calculate punch out date time

Select Employee: Type name or use dropdown

Select Activity Code: If applicable

Select Authorization: If applicable (expired authorization will not show)

Click + sign to add row and repeat process. 

Once done, validate total hours for the timesheet, then click Save changes.  System will prompt to confirm.

IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT exit unless system displays Successful message.
