STEP 1: Mobile Device Settings
Ensure mobile device has Location Services 'Turned On' for web browser.
For IOS devices,
a. Go to Settings/Privacy and ensure Location Services radio button is on (showing green)
b. Navigate to Safari Websites, and select 'While Using App' - you should see a blue check mark once selected
STEP 2: Installing App on Your Mobile Device
a. Go to https://securecaretime.com/mobile
b. Find the upload button in Safari
c. Click on Save as Home to Home Screen - you will see the app installed on your mobile device
STEP 3: Employee Registration & Log In
a. Launch Caretime Mobile by tapping on the app
b. Click OK when prompted 'https://securecaretime.com/mobile Would Like To Use Your Current Location'
c. Complete Registration by entering Employee Code, Last Name and Birth Year (needs to match Caretime 2.0 system records for successful validation)
d. Log in
STEP 4: Clocking In & Clocking Out
a. After logging in, you may be asked to click Ok to share location - it is important to keep sharing location anytime prompted
b. You will see Jobs listed for the location you are at. Scheduled jobs will be listed in Scheduled Job
c. To Clock In - tap on the Clock next to Not Started for a specific job, then Select Clock In from pop up. You will now see the running time clock next to the clock image.
d. To Clock Out - tap on the Clock again, and select Clock Out. Status will now change to Completed.
STEP 5: EMPLOYEE CHARTING
a. Launch Caretime Mobile and Clock In
b. Tap the folder icon next to the Job name
c. You will see two tabs, Tasks and Observation. Use slider to mark mins spent one task ata time, then click Submit. Then tap on Observation, and mark observations for te session (you can also make comments).
d. Click on Job (top right) to see other Jobs.
